"But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat."

Daniel 1:8

Who this book is for

Every reader over fifty who has eaten carefully and still felt the body grow heavy, tired, and slow, because some of what betrays us sits on our own table and no one ever told us its name.

What it is

The companion to God's Pharmacy, built on the story of Daniel refusing the king's rich food (Daniel 1). Each chapter gives four things: the warning Scripture gives, how the food betrays a body over fifty, where it hides in modern life, and what healing food to put in its place, with the standing promise: never leave a food empty-handed.
